Black and White Swirl Cake

Cake I made for one of the provider's birthday in the office. It turned out OK. I think I should have used a smaller tip to pipe the swirls. I also need more practice at piping period, but I love the bow. The red really pops with the black and white.
It is Banana cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum!

    Piping gel, I didn't even think of that. would that just make the icing come out smoother?
